Meet our Program Committee Team

 

  Dorothy (Dot) Graham has been in software testing for 40 years, and is co-author of four books, including two on test automation (with Mark Fewster), e.g. “Experiences of Test Automation: Case Studies of Software Test Automation“.
She was programme chair for EuroSTAR twice and is a popular speaker at international conferences.
Dot has been on the boards of publications, conferences and qualifications in software testing. She was awarded the European
Excellence Award in Software Testing in 1999 and the first ISTQB Excellence Award in 2012. You can visit her at her website.

 

Debra Friedenberg
has been involved in the software testing profession for over 25 years and has managed teams at a variety of organizations, including Software Publishing Corporation, Autodesk, Wells Fargo Bank, and IBM.She has been a member of the ASTQB Board of Directors since 2007 and is a co-author of the ISTQB Expert Test Manager and Foundation Level syllabi. Debra resides in Sonoma County, California, with her husband.
When not involved in testing projects, she spends her free time helping out on their world-class Pinot Noir vineyard.


 

Isabel Evans, Isabel has more than 30 years experience in the IT industry, mainly in quality management, testing, training and documentation. Most of her work has been with clients in the financial, communications and software sectors.
Isabel is a Certified IT Professional and Fellow of the British Computer Society. Isabel has spoken on software quality, testing and test management at conferences in the UK, Europe and the USA. She was voted best speaker at EuroSTAR 2002 and at BCS SIGiST in 2003. She received best paper awards at ExpoQA 2010 and at EuroSTAR 2010. She has provided keynotes at the EuroSTAR, STARWest, BCS SIGiST, Agile Testing Days, and ANZTB conferences. More info on her experiences you can find here.

 


 

John Fodeh, who is currently managing Cognizant’s testing services in the Nordics. John has more than fifteen years of experience in software testing with extensive expertise in quality management, process improvement, testing tools, and strategy. John has helped organizations throughout Europe deal with issues in the areas of banking, insurance, retail, life sciences, and government. He has written a number of articles and contributed to books, including Experiences of Test Automation. John is an active member of special interest groups in software testing, chairman of the Danish Software Testing Board, and speaker at international testing conferences including STAREAST, STARWEST, and EuroSTAR. Tafline’s passion is all things software testing. She is a Principal Consultant and Quality Manager for K. J. Ross & Associates (KJ Ross).Tafline specialises in test management, test process improvement, mentoring, coaching and training. Tafline has managed both large and small software testing projects, with staff numbers ranging from 2 to 30, including management of system and user acceptance testing, and of technical and business testers.
Tafline is also a co-editor of the new ISO/IEC 29119 Software Testing standard, which enhances and consolidates a number of existing standards, including IEEE 829, IEEE 1008 and BSI 7925-1/2. Tafline is chair of the mirror software testing working group at Standards Australia (IT-015-WG26) and is secretary of the international software testing working group (ISO/IEC JTC1/SC7 WG26).
